It forms part of The Good Food Network portfolio and aims to reinvent the food system by empowering small scale producers, ethical food businesses, and natural product suppliers to gain investment and market share. Its implementation is based on the crowdfunding concept of raising financial contributions from a large number of people.
Overview
Good Food Network’s main goal is to accelerate the shift to a new GOOD food system, one that replaces the current toxic, broken, and unfair food system. Chemical-free and non-GMO farming practices receive little to no support from the government, whereas industrial agriculture is heavily subsidised and promoted. This makes it harder for ethical small businesses to start and compete in the market.
Fundraising For the Food System is Good Food Network’s newest offering which helps GOOD food projects and small businesses get the financial support they need through crowdfunding, and by promoting their projects to our online customers on checkout .
The platform is here to support and promote food and farm entrepreneurs at any stage of their Good Food journey.
