My Food Fairy

Our fairy chefs cook from scratch just the way you would at home, with an added dash of magic. Freezing food is a natural way to seal in freshness and keep all the good stuff locked in. It’s why we never have to add any preservatives to our food.

There are no additives, preservatives, colourants, flavourings, or other nasty stuff you wouldn’t use yourself. We use salt very sparingly. Only the finest hand-sourced ingredients selected for their freshness, flavour and natural goodness are used. We believe that a meal is only as good as the ingredients that go into it. That’s why we team up with the very best suppliers to source all of our meat, veggies, spices and sauces. Wherever possible, we choose local produce without any unnecessary processing, additives or preservatives.

We want our food to be as good for the planet as it is for you. Most of our suppliers are proudly South African, and we only use imported ingredients when really necessary. We also substitute beef for ostrich in some dishes, because they have a lighter impact on the environment. All of our packaging is made from recyclable materials, and we’ve cut out plastic completely. Our big dream is to introduce reusable trays and compostable packaging. We’re doing our best to make it happen. We’ll keep you posted!
