OV Organics

We are six emerging urban farmers on a mission to make Ocean View “good, green and gorgeous”. We focus on growing organic food for our local south peninsula community (veggie box scheme), serving delicious veggie juices, pizzas and more at our Hoenderhok cafe (open on Fridays only), supporting the growth of satellite organic gardens in our community, and, through our nursery, propagating seeds and seedlings to support our farm and others in growing organic food locally.

We donate freshly baked farm bread to three local food schemes weekly and install our perpetual growing veggie boxes with nutrient-dense veggies at places in Ocean View that care for the elderly, orphaned, abused and marginalised.
