We provide quality bulk and packed African herbal teas to clients across the globe. Cape Natural Tea Products was founded in 1996 with one clear goal in mind: to introduce stability and trust into the South African herbal tea industry. 25 years later, we are a leading supplier of herbal teas, having built strong partnerships with all our clients, farmers, and employees.

The trust of our farmers is instrumental to our operations. We maintain close relationships with each of our farmers and provide on-farm extension services. A family of experts, each committed to continuous improvement in their departments, works around the clock to meet our clients’ expectations. We build strong connections with all members of our community, through various training and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Working with indigenous produce, we understand the importance of respecting and developing the environments in which our plantations grow. Our flagstone product, Rooibos tea, is made from the leaves of aspalathus lineaeris, which is part of the fynbos family. Fynbos plants grow almost exclusively in the Western Cape region of South Africa, known for its incredible biodiversity.  We encourage sustainable and regenerative farming practices, making sure that we farm alongside the wilderness, protecting the biodiversity of our environment. We are Rainforest Alliance certified. Since 2014, Cape Natural Tea Products has undertaken an annual industry-wide aerial survey.  This project ensures all stakeholders in the industry are updated on the status of Rooibos plantations, providing invaluable data that drives stability in the industry.
