Usana Farming encapsulates the beauty of regenerative agriculture. Two brothers, basically pasture reared in a prominent winemaking family, now based on one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms in South Africa, have made quite the adventure of this conservationist approach to food and farming systems. Embracing sustainability and ethical farming, Usana offers premium grade Grass Fed Beef, Pasture Reared Eggs and fine wine. Mimicking nature as to we strive to produce natural, healthy, quality food from our farm.
Usana Farming is located on the Winshaw Family Farm, Klein Welmoed, in the beautiful and historic Stellenbosch wine region. Usana is a Xhosa word meaning ‘a baby’ or ‘a new beginning’ and represents the start of a new venture for the family. We strive to make wines we are passionate about, enjoyable to drink and complementary to food.
