Threshold Urban Farm

Threshold Urban farm is in Bromhof, Randburg, Johannesburg on a piece of property owned by Randpark Ridge United Church. Our vision is to create opportunities and an environment for Organisations and Individuals to COME and join us by investing in and uplifting our community. This involvement will enable them to CONNECT with others within the community. By sharing our time, knowledge and resources this will grow the community, uplift those involved and empower them to BE MORE.

It is a permaculture vegetable garden. Permaculture is the development of agricultural ecosystems intended to be sustainable and self-sufficient and is a fully organic way of growing plants. We strive towards investing in and uplifting our community through growing organic vegetables to feed the homeless and teach people how to produce their own food. We supply our vegetables to Syringa Cafe. Vegetables are sold to help make the project self sustainable.

We are a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and are able to issue S18A receipts in accordance with the Income Tax Act of 1962, enabling individuals and organisations to offset donations towards this project against their taxable income. By being a part of this project you will be investing in the lives of many people in our community. We look forward to your involvement and investment into our community.
