This raw Fynbos honey is from a region in the Cape West Coast specically free from commercial farming. Bees collect their pollen from local plants that are not treated with chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides. Making the honey you consume minimised from pesticides & other chemical traces. Therefore, our honey, beeswax and propolis are all 100% organic. Thick, strong, and super sweet. Certified badger friendly.

The story of Simply Bee is intertwined with family history. It all started with our dad, Derick Hugo who had been a passionate hobbyist beekeeper since 1954. Upon his retirement Derick and Marie Hugo returned to Hopefield in 1994 and transformed their beekeeping hobby into a business. In 2008 the next generation became involved with Pierre and Helena van der Westhuizen continuing with the proud family legacy. As creators and owners of Simply Bee our mission is to not only cultivate awareness of the benefits of using natural beeswax products but to also aid in bee conservation. Our beehives, it began with our father, who provided us with the foundation to not only create these products but to also continue a family legacy.
