Oaternative started from a simple dream: To create a local, sustainable dairy alternative that could truly replace milk. Simple in concept, however, it took many a theory and many, many hours in the lab before we walked away with something even better… something truly remarkable really.

Made from 100% locally sourced oats, Oaternative is produced in the heart of Cape Town. It is a one of kind oat milk that is deliciously creamy and fully functional to replace all your ‘previous’ dairy needs. Shall we say Barista proof?

Oats are sustainable. All production by-products get donated to local horse farms as feed. The packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable, and what’s more, we make it our personal responsibility to ensure that the same amount of bottles that we use to make our delicious oat milk, get reused to make sustainable eco-bricks.

Locally sourced ingredients manufactured to perfection for your enjoyment. This product exists for one reason, and one reason only – a true replacement for traditional dairy that can be used… well, just like dairy!
