Fabino was founded in 2011, when Fabian Reck made the journey from Switzerland to Cape Town and recognised the need for a high-quality, imported, ethically produced brand of coffee in South Africa. It was meant to be: Fabian’s name literally means “bean farmer”, which is how Fabino got its name. The brand stands for quality and sustainability, with a strong focus on organic and ethical coffee products. Organic coffees utilise no synthetic fertilizers or chemicals, resulting in cleaner beans and a healthier environment for all.

At Fabino, we import our own green beans – with the assistance of one of the world’s most renowned coffee experts – and we have become the go-to wholesale supplier of quality sourced and carefully selected coffee beans. In addition to wholesale and retail, we offer barista training and personal branding for your coffee. Want to hone your skillset or step into the world of coffee? Then step into our classroom. At Fabino we currently offer a beginner course for anyone who want to become a barista, or the enthusiast that wants to start his own coffee business.
