Doorbell Deli is an online, fine food specialty deli. Our products are produced to the highest standards by rural independent, artisanal producers.
Doorbell Deli was created out of a desire to connect rural independent, artisanal producers with consumers in Cape Town. The Western Cape, and South Africa in general, is littered with producers creating food products of the highest quality. A passion for food and quality combined with an in depth knowledge of the foods they work with allow these producers to create food which is healthy, sustainable and delicious.
We believe there to be a need to link the producers with the increasingly food and health conscious people of Cape Town. We wanted to ensure that people had access to foods of an exceptionally high quality. This high level of quality would extend to the taste, health benefits and sustainability of our products.
It is because of this commitment to quality that we carefully select only the best South African producers. We visit their places of work, sample their ingredients and ensure that their ethos measures up to our high standards of quality. We are committed to bringing our customers in Cape Town the high quality food products they deserve.
