Cape Food Farm

We are certified organic farmers growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers for the people in the towns surrounding our farm. We believe organic, nutritionally dense food is important for both the environment and our health and our mission is to grow food with healing properties and to protect our planet whilst doing so. Our veggies are fed natural organic food and clear mountain spring water in a pollution-free environment. Hulle smaak so lekker want hulle eet so lekker! 

Our farm, Du Bois, is situated in the Overberg in the mountains between Stanford and Elim. We’ve been farming in this area for the past 20 odd years. We value the clean air that comes from the ocean in the East and West. Gravitation brings the freshwater for our gardens from springs higher up in the mountains – we don’t own a pump! This suits our ideal of organic, sustainable farming. We grow all our vegetable soil focused; not plant-focused. Meaning, we sustain and feed the soil as well as the organisms that live in it. Good soil takes care of the plants.

This is a real farm, with vegetables that grow at their own pace. We are busy planting at the speed of lightning, but as farmers, we’ve had to learn patience, no plant will be rushed. Bear with us on this journey of bringing you a wide variety of the most nutritious food. From the farm to your table. Just like our plants we’ll keep growing better and better! We aim to grow 50 odd different vegetables and are always looking for more things to grow. It is vital to eat a diverse diet to get all the nutrients your body needs to thrive.
