Tulbagh Kitchen Gardens

The Church Street Kitchen Garden was inspired by Babylonstoren and established in 2014 as a formal garden to compliment the surrounding Cape Dutch houses and highly significant heritage status of the entire street. The garden is open to visitors from 8 to 5, often much longer, but shorter on Sunday. Visitors are welcome to wander about the garden or ask for assistance to pick a hamper or collect produce from our kiosk. We are a small team who practice permaculture and we grow our plants organically without chemicals. We deliver a R240 Tulbagh Fresh Hamper to Cape Town every Thursday (Friday morning for the West and Northern suburbs). This operates via a WhatsApp group to which we will add your cell phone number if you wish.
