Just Honey

Just honey is a small family-run beekeeping business that was originally started in 1990 and has grown to be a beekeeping operation of around 100 busy beehives cared for by chief apiarist, Mike Thacker. Mike works closely with the bees to gather the finest honey in the Richmond area and uses their beeswax, propolis and essential oils to produce our sought after Healing balm. Originally started by Mike’s son Justin, as a means to earn extra pocket money while at school (hence the name “Just” Honey).

Mike and Justin work closely with the bees to gather the finest honey from local forests. Our goal in harvesting raw, untreated honey – from hive to tub – is to create and educate people on truly natural products that have a positive effect on your well-being and for the good of the environment.
