One of the most exquisite estates in the Cape, Babylonstoren is a historic Cape Dutch farm lovingly reworked to boast a magnificent (chemical-free), natural food garden. Laid out over 3,5 hectares, the garden is divided into 15 sections that comprise fruit orchards, vegetables, berries, bees for pollinating, indigenous plants, fragrant herb lawns, a prickly pear maze, ducks and chickens, and more. Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds or dine from one of three restaurants, all of which use only seasonal produce harvested daily from their garden. Babylonstoren is also home to a scenic natural vineyard, a cellar and tasting room, their Farm Hotel & Spa, and the Farm Shop.
