Vegkop Farm is part of the Phillipi Horticultural Area’s Food & Farming Campaign led up by legendary Nazeer Sonday.
There is usually cabbage, spinach, carrots, sweet potatoes, spring onion, celery, parsley, bringal, spinach and much much  more growing.

What happens to all that produce you might ask? “We sell it at the farm” says a spokesman. There is also lots of compost made from a  mix of cow and horse manure, mixed with cuttings.

Come to the farm and volunteer on Tuesday mornings between 9am and 12pm. You’ll get to learn what’s growing on and even eat what you grow. That’s soul food! Volunteer with them to help make organics go mainstream.
